The display area update unit updates a position in a frame of a display area which is an area used for display among the frames including an image signal output from an image pickup element in accordance with a motion of an image pickup device in which the image pickup element is disposed. The localization audio signal generation unit generates a localization audio signal which is an audio signal for localizing an audio image in the updated display area on the basis of audio signals output from a plurality of microphones.
