Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a backboard, the backboard includes a base plate and a plurality of side plates perpendicular to the base plate. The plurality of side plates are connected end to end around the base plate, and define an accommodating space having an opening with the base plate. The backlight module further includes a light guide plate (LGP) located in the accommodating space and a light source located at a light incident side of the LGP. The light source includes a substrate and a light emitting element disposed on the substrate, the substrate is parallel to and mounted on one side plate. One light emergent side of the light-emitting element (302) is opposite to the light incident side of the LGP.
