Zusammenfassung:	A housing arrangement comprising a housing an inner space for accommodating components capable of forming sources of ignition. The housing arrangement further comprises a partial housing arranged in or on the housing and the interior space. The interior space acts as a pressure relief volume. The interior space and the pressure relief volume are connected together via a passage in which a gas-permeable and flame-arresting arrangement is provided. This can be formed from a porous body, for instance, which is gas permeable and acts in a throttling and cooling manner on a gas flow passing through it.
