Zusammenfassung:	A method, cellular communications network, and a network node are disclosed. The cellular communications network comprises a first base station and a second base station. The first base station is configured to receive a signal including a radio resource control (RRC) message from a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the RRC message including WTRU capability information and the WTRU capability information including data rate information and physical layer characteristic information, and transmit the WTRU capability information to a network node. The second base station is configured to receive the WTRU capability information from the network node and transmit configuration information based on the WTRU capability information to the WTRU so that the WTRU can be configured to establish communications with the second base station using the configuration information.
