Zusammenfassung:A vehicle control device is equipped with a remaining energy amount determination unit that determines a remaining energy amount of a host vehicle, and a lane change control unit that controls a lane change on the basis of the remaining energy amount. In the case that the remaining energy amount is less than a threshold value, the lane change control unit permits a first lane change, which is a lane change into a first lane located on one side of a host vehicle lane, and restricts a second lane change, which is a lane change into a second lane located on another side of the host vehicle lane.
