Zusammenfassung:	A generator for a wind turbine, a direct drive wind turbine, and a method for manufacturing a generator for a wind turbine is provided. The generator includes a rotor, and a stator, wherein the stator includes a first radial side and a second radial side which is opposite of the first radial side, and wherein the rotor is arranged adjacent to the first radial side. The generator further includes a flow distribution element which is arranged adjacent to the second radial side such that a circumferential flow channel is formed between the flow distribution element and the second radial side.
