Zusammenfassung:	An elastic barrier coating composition includes an aqueous dispersion of core-shell particles and an elastomeric polymer that is different from the aqueous dispersed core-shell particles. The aqueous dispersion of core-shell particles include an aqueous medium and core-shell particles dispersed in the aqueous medium. The core-shell particles have a polymeric core at least partially encapsulated by a polymeric shell in which the polymeric shell includes: (i) a barrier segment comprising aromatic groups and urethane linkages, urea linkages, or a combination thereof; and (ii) an elastomeric segment that is different from (i). The barrier segment includes at least 30 weight % of the polymeric shell based on the total solids weight of the polymeric shell. Further, the polymeric shell is covalently bonded to at least a portion of the polymeric core.
