Zusammenfassung:A method for communication in a WLAN includes associating a client station (STA) with a basic service set (BSS) of a first access point (AP), having first antennas, in a wireless local area network (WLAN). A second AP, having second antennas, in the WLAN is synchronized with the first AP. Distributed beamforming parameters are computed over a group of the first antennas and the second antennas. Data for transmission to the STA are distributed to both the first AP and the second AP. The distributed data are distributed to the STA from the first AP via the first antennas in the group and the second AP via the second antennas in the group in synchronization in accordance with the distributed beamforming parameters.
