Zusammenfassung:An overspeed assembly for use with a governor assembly for limiting of an elevator system, the overspeed assembly includes a rod movable relative to the governor assembly in response to a speed of an elevator car and a pin coupled to the rod. The pin is movable between a first position and a second position based on a direction of travel of the elevator car. The pin is configured to engage a first component to indicate a first overspeed condition when the elevator car is travelling in a first direction and the pin is configured to engage a second component to indicate a second overspeed condition when the elevator car is travelling in a second, opposite direction.
