Zusammenfassung:	An air filter unit for an air intake of an air handling or HVAC system includes a grate configured to support a plurality of spaced apart filters at a top side thereof, whereby air is drawn through the grate and then sequentially through the filters into the air intake. The air filter unit may include a filter indicator which provides a visual indication of the air filters, such as based upon the pressure differential on either side of the air filters.
