Zusammenfassung:	A method and device are described to increase the light output on specific areas of a display. The display may be part of a High Dynamic Range (HDR) device. The device includes a processor and a power source. The processor is configured to process a received content signal. The power source further includes a circuit configured to receive a request signal from the processor and, in response to the received request signal, adjust the power supply limitation that increases a light output on a first area of a display when the content signal is displayed.
