Zusammenfassung:	A display includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, pixel driving electrodes for pixels, the pixel driving electrodes being provided on the first substrate and configured to provide control electric fields to the liquid crystal layer, louver elements, louver element driving electrodes provided on a face facing the first substrate of the second substrate, and an unseparated shield electrode between the louver element driving electrodes and the liquid crystal layer. Each of the louver elements are configured to stand on the second substrate, be sandwiched between one of the louver element driving electrodes and the shield electrode, and change amount of light to be transmitted in accordance with voltage applied across the louver element driving electrode and the shield electrode to change viewing angle.
