Zusammenfassung:	An animal rescue system identifies and rescues a protection target which is an animal, using information from a camera. The animal rescue system includes: a plurality of movable bodies each equipped with a camera; and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of movable bodies. The server is configured to identify a protection target, using information from the camera mounted on each of the plurality of movable bodies. The server is configured, when the protection target is identified, to (a) acquire positional information about each of the plurality of movable bodies and positional information about the protection target, and (b) select, as the protection target moves, a movable body which is to monitor the protection target, from the plurality of movable bodies.
