Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for the production of basic biosolvents derived from inedible vegetable oil or animal fat or waste fatty acid composition by one-pot reaction between inedible vegetable oil or animal fat or waste fatty acid, and at least one ester of short-chain organic acid having 2, 3 or 5 carbon atoms, derived from biomass, in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts. In addition, the invention also relates to basic biosolvents, comprising alkyl esters of fatty acid, trieste of glycerin, esters of short-chain organic acids having 2, 3 or 5 carbon atoms, suitable for preparing many types of biosolvents, depending on application requirements.
