Zusammenfassung:	A drive device for a vertical stirred mill, including a main housing, a motor, and an element able to be rotated by the motor around a vertical axis, the rotary element being fastened to a rotary milling tool of the vertical stirred mill, the rotary element including a substantially horizontal rotary plate, and the main housing including an axial stop able to guide the rotary element axially, the rotary plate being arranged bearing on the axial stop, the axial stop thus being able to react to the axial forces exerted on the milling tool during operation of the vertical stirred mill.
