Therefore, in the high-pressure fuel supply pump having a metal pump body forming a pressurizing chamber, the pump body is made of a steel material containing 12% to 18% of Cr and 3% to 7% of Ni, and the pump body has a forging surface on a part of the outer peripheral surface.
