The optical device further includes a second DOE optically coupled to the first DOE. The second DOE includes a plurality of expansion gratings. At least one of the expansion gratings includes a plurality of wings. The optical device includes a third DOE optically coupled to the second DOE. The third DOE includes an out-coupling grating having at least two periods and orientations.
