Conductive roller for electrophotographic equipment

The present invention provides a conductive roll for electrophotographic apparatuses, which has a shaft body that is composed of a core bar and exhibits excellent rust prevention properties. A conductive roll 10 for electrophotographic apparatuses according to the present invention is provided with a shaft body 12 that is composed of a core bar, a protective layer 14 that is formed on the outer circumference of the shaft body 12, and a conductive rubber elastic layer 16 that is formed on the outer circumference of the protective layer 14. The conductive rubber elastic layer 16 contains a rubber that contains a halogen atom; and the protective layer 14 is formed of a crosslinked product of a composition that contains a material which is obtained by melting and mixing the components (a)-(c) described below.
