Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for autonomous cleaning of an electrical line includes: an inductive pick up coil concentrically disposed around the electrical line which pick up coil derives its power from the electrical line through inductive coupling; a drive motor having a driving wheel in contact with the electrical line; a power conditioning circuit for conditioning the inductively picked up power from the pick up coil, the drive motor being coupled to the power conditioning circuit; at least one rotating brush in contact with the electrical line for cleaning the electrical line; at least one brush motor coupled to the at least one brush to rotate the brush, the brush motor being coupled to the power conditioning circuit; and a control circuit for controlling the operation of the drive motor and brush motor, the control circuit coupled to the power conditioning circuit.
