The application execution apparatus according to the present invention includes a kernel that includes a predetermined function mechanism, a framework that includes an abstracted function mechanism, a first application that operates by directly using the function mechanism, and a second application, where the function mechanism includes a function mechanism that is required for operation of said first application and another function mechanism that is not required for operation of said first application, and where the kernel starts only the function mechanism that is required for operation of the first application, and then starts another function mechanism that is not required for operation of the first application.
