Zusammenfassung:	Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a pallet assembly having a support assembly and a stringer. The support assembly includes a deck and a plurality of blocks that extend from the deck. The deck and the blocks are unitarily formed to create a contiguous outer shell that defines a common internal space that is filled with a support material. The blocks include extension portions that correspond to openings defined in the stringer. The extensions are received in a corresponding opening to attach the stringer to the support assembly.
