Zusammenfassung:	A method for operating a motor vehicle which can be operated in an automated driving mode in which the motor vehicle is driven automatically by means of a computing device includes receiving at least one input for activating the automated driving mode, determining the current position of a first component of the motor vehicle and, depending on the input received and the determined current position, predetermining an adjusting region including the determined current position within which adjusting region movements of the first component relative to a second component of the motor vehicle caused by the driver via a motor allocated to the first component are permitted.
