Zusammenfassung:Server information handling system LED indication lights and other illumination devices are selectively illuminated based upon override configuration settings pushed down from a data center administrative tool. A chassis management controller that manages a blade or rack with plural server information handling systems overrides indication light illumination at blade or rack components, such as power supply and I/O modules. Power saved by reducing indication light illumination is allocated to support operation of one or more server information handling systems.
