A computing device includes a wireless transceiver configured to communicate wirelessly with a data network, a user interface configured to receive a user input to access data from a storage device in communication with the data network, and a biometric characteristic reader configured to receive user characteristic data to verify a user's identity. The computing device is configured to access the data from the storage device via the wireless transceiver and the data network based on verification of the user's identity.
