Zusammenfassung:	According to one embodiment, a wireless access point includes a wireless communication unit to receive an authentication frame that includes attribute information of a wireless communication terminal and to transmit a response frame in response to the authentication frame. A retransmission limit setting unit sets a limit for transmissions of the response frame based on the attribute information included in the authentication frame. A controller controls transmission of the response frame according to the retransmission limit.
