Zusammenfassung:	A liquid crystal display includes a first panel which includes a first electrode including a first protrusion and a first alignment layer disposed on the first electrode, a second panel which is disposed to face the first panel, and which includes a second electrode including a second protrusion disposed in a region corresponding to the first protrusion and a second alignment layer disposed on the second electrode, and a liquid crystal layer which is disposed between the first panel and the second panel, where the first protrusion and the second protrusion vertically face each other.
