Zusammenfassung:	A shaped charge produces an explosive jet utilizing a cylindrical liner surrounded by tracks of explosives. The tracks of explosives are located on the curved surface of the cylindrical liner in a spiral. The tracks of explosives are wrapped around the cylindrical liner in a spiral at an angle to the charge axis. The angle is determined as an angle that assures that the flow speed of the collapsing cylindrical liner is subsonic compared to the sound speed in the material of the collapsing cylindrical liner. The angle also can be selected and varied to directly control the speed of a non-stretching jet, as well as a velocity gradient to produce a stretching jet.
