Zusammenfassung: | A velocity cooled (VC) mobile data center (MDC) includes a volumetric container having an air intake opening providing an air intake path for exterior air to ingress into the container at a high velocity to provide a flow of cooling air that cools the heat generating IT equipment operating within the VC MDC while the MDC is mobile. An air intake damper is positioned within the air intake opening and can be selectively positioned between a fully opened position to a fully closed position. The VC MDC includes an air handling unit (AHU) configurable to operate in a standby mode or an active mode, ranging from providing minimal airflow to providing maximum airflow. The level of operation of the IT equipment and the amount of cooling provided by the AHU is controlled, based, in part, on a velocity of the VC MDC and resulting amount of cooling air being ingested. |
