Zusammenfassung:	A method for increasing the exhaust temperature of an exhaust system. The method includes receiving an inlet temperature of a selective catalytic reduction system; determining whether the inlet temperature meets a temperature setpoint; adjusting an exhaust manifold pressure setpoint based on the determination of the inlet temperature; determining whether the exhaust manifold pressure of at least one of first or second bank meet the exhaust manifold pressure setpoint; and causing an adjustment of an effective flow area of at least one of the first bank or second bank based on the exhaust manifold pressure, the adjustment of the effective flow area structured to increase exhaust temperature during light load operation.
