Zusammenfassung:	A method is disclosed for analyzing and/or evaluating at least one event of a technical installation from a plurality of generated log files of an automation system of the technical installation. In at least one embodiment, the method includes determining a number of relevant log files based on at least one log parameter; encoding the relevant log files via at least one associated log code; determining at least one key parameter for the analysis and/or evaluation; identifying multiple relevant log files based on the at least one key parameter from the relevant log files; and grouping the relevant log files into a number of sequences of relevant log files based on the repetition rate of the key parameter in a time window to be analyzed.
