Fixing device for fixing a wear or protection element on a bucket of an earth moving machine and corresponding fixing method and wear or protection system

The present invention relates to a fixing device for fixing a wear or protection element on a bucket of an earth moving machine, comprising: a base with a housing with a front wall and a rear wall with a through hole, a stop with a lower part housed in the housing, a screw having a head going through the hole and having an end thereof fixed to the stop and a partially compressed elastic device arranged between the screw and the hole. When the elastic device is fully compressed it has a length of L0. In a mounted position, the stop has a front face opposite the front wall, where the distance between both is D1 and the distance between the head and the hole has a value of D2, and the condition of D2−L0>D1 is met in the mounted position.
