Zusammenfassung:	A display device includes a base substrate, a gate line on the base substrate, the gate line extending in a first direction, a data line on the base substrate, the data line extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction, a thin film transistor ("TFT") which is connected to the gate line and the data line, a first insulating layer on the TFT, a shielding electrode on the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer on the shielding electrode, and a pixel electrode on the second insulating layer, the pixel electrode connected to the TFT where the pixel electrode may have a substantially rhombus shape and overlaps at least one of the gate line and the data line.
