The event-based sensor includes a pixel array including pixels, a selection circuit configured to select a part of the pixels, an event circuit configured to generate an event signal indicating an active pixel sensing an event among the selected part of the pixels, based on output signals of the selected part of the pixels, and an output circuit configured to output information indicating the active pixel based on the event signal.
