Zusammenfassung:	A system and method are provided that are capable of processing incoming status data from a variety of sources to identify an event therein. The identified event is then processed with a rules engine to determine an intended or authorized recipient for the event, wherein the intended recipient is one or a plurality of potential recipients. A communication protocol is then determined that is based on an annunciation device uniquely associated with the intended recipient. The event is then selectively annunciated to the authorized, intended recipient.
