A content server of the system may pre-cache content in the shared cache in anticipation that a user will want to access the content. Among other things, pre-caching enables a user to access content on-demand that would require a faster connection to the Internet than the user may have. The system can leverage different communications pathways to the various devices utilizing the shared cache, providing timely delivery of content even if each device's individual connection to the internet is too slow to support timely delivery. |
