Zusammenfassung:	A cleaning element to be fastened on a cylindrical basic body has a longitudinal axis and is designed as a cylindrical hollow element and comprises a skeleton and a spiked lattice stretched on the skeleton. The skeleton is connected to the spiked lattice by means of a rubber sealing compound, and an inner surface of the cleaning element facing the longitudinal axis is formed by the skeleton or the rubber sealing compound. The skeleton is formed by support rings which are arranged at certain intervals concentric with the longitudinal axis and which are held by means of one or more webs extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
