Zusammenfassung:	Systems and methods for mitigating image degradation in displays are provided. In one example, the present disclosure relates to an information handling system comprising a display policy related to a display, where the display policy provides information concerning: (1) at least one icon for display on the display, and (2) a schedule for changing a size of the at least one icon over a period of time. The system may further include an image data storage configured to store image data corresponding to the at least one icon for the display. The system may further include an image data adjuster configured to adjust the image data corresponding to the at least one icon based on the display policy.
