Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure provides a method and a device for reminding a user. The method includes: detecting whether a preset number of terminals in an area have performed a designated operation within a preset time period; inquiring a terminal in the area that has not performed the designated operation if it is detected that the preset number of terminals in the area have performed the designated operation within the preset time period; and sending a reminder to the terminal in the area that has not performed the designated operation, the reminder reminding a user of the terminal to perform the designated operation.
