Zusammenfassung:The technique for revealing and monitoring the stenosis in the reconstructed blood vessel comprises the search for stenotic area with the aid of segment-by-segment ultrasound scanning, the measurement of the peak systolic blood flow in pre- and post-stenotic segments, the calculation of the ratio between these peak systolic values of blood flow in pre- and post-stenotic segments. The ratio exceeding unity is indicative of the stenosis. Such diagnostic is repeated several times with two-month intervals. The peak systolic blood flow rate is measured in the areas of proximal and distal anastomoses in the patients with the reconstructed blood vessel.
