Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to metal forming, namely - to processes of hydrodynamic stamping sheet metal. A method is used, in particular, in aircraft and rocketry. In the method of hydrodynamic stamping a sheet blank is installed with interference at edges into a die matrix, the die is placed in a holder over the cylinder with a piston, which is located therein, the cavities inside the blank and cylinder above the piston are filled full with a liquid transfer medium, the holder and die are closed by a cover, all these parts are fastened by holding elements to form a stamping block that is oriented downward by piston shank and, according to the invention, a sheet blank is subject to a pulsed pressure of liquid transfer medium at shock pushing the piston inside the cylinder piston caused a piston shank collision with a solid surface when the stamping block falls from the estimated height. In a device for hydrodynamic stamping, which consists of a die placed in a holder, a thick-walled cylinder, which is joined to the die and is located under it, with a piston, assembled in a stamping block, according to the invention, the piston and cylinder form a plunger pair, while the piston has a shank with smaller diameter, freely protrudes from the bottom hole of the cylinder and has at the end a limiting belt with a damper ending by a spherical surface. The total weight of all its elements should ensure accumulation of kinetic energy during free fall from the estimated height, according to the invention, which is required and sufficient to create a pressure pulse forming a blank. All this ensures a defect-free manufacturing sheet metal by hydrodynamic stamping due to normalization of the pressure field inside the transfer medium by imparting to the pressure pulse a quasi-static nature and thus eliminating wave oscillatory processes (pulsation) of cavitation caused by them.
