Zusammenfassung:	The proposed method for sampling consists in cutting, in the sample blank, a slot of a specified depth along the sample outline, cooling the sample area, by filling the slot with liquefied gas, to a temperature at which the sample metal is brittle, and separating the sample from the blank by a special cutter. The cutter is inserted in the slot and displaced in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the sample by a wedge that is installed between the slot wall and the cutting plate of the cutter.
