COLLET

A collet contains working conical and elastic parts. Working part consists of basic clamping elements executed in the form of segments formed by cuts on several planes and placed between them, additional clamping elements with cuts between them and plates located in these cuts made as a whole with elastic part of the collet, rigidly connected with the basic clamping elements, surface of which is intended for interaction with the sides of additional clamping elements. The surface of additional clamping elements, which is intended for interaction with the bar, has a partial regular microrelief of pointed form with the lip angles. The microrelief is made alternately inclined in the perpendicular direction with the height, which is smaller than the parameter of roughness for this material and working type.
