A device for bottom blowing of metal involves the whole crack burnt plug, disposed in the metal casing, in which the plug test portion, which has a contact with the molten metal, made in the form of cut cone, and the rest part of the plug is in the form of the prism or cut pyramid with the ratio of parts between themselves in the height between 1:1 and 3:1, and the deterioration indicator, installed at the axis of the plug and in height corresponds to its test portion. The invention allows to control wear of the plug test portion.
