Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to ceramic scintillation material based on lithium fluoride (LiF) and a neutron radiation detector made of the material. The proposed material contains lithium fluoride and lanthanide silicates with the ratio of 10:(1 ... 4) between the contents of the material components. The particles of silicates have dimensions of 0.1 ... 0.3 mm and are uniformly distributed between the particles of lithium fluoride having the same dimensions. The neutron radiation detector contains elements made of the aforesaid scintillation material that alternate with elements made of transparent non-scintillation material containing hydrogen. The dimension and shape of the elements are selected so as to provide the optimal sensitivity of the detector to neutron radiation.
