Zusammenfassung:	An orthesis for the upper extremity includes framework, section for four fingers connected to abduction splint of thumb forming a cup-shaped form, section for carpus and elements of fastening set on framework and section for four fingers. The figured frame is made of low-temperature thermoplastic with the modulus of elasticity of 150-400 MPa in accordance with the form of internal side of the upper extremity from the middle of shoulder with the gripping of elbow joint in functionally advantageous position and with the gripping of hand in ventral position of wrist joint. The section for four fingers has a bend in the area of phalanxes in physiological advantageous position thereof. The rigid figured splint is connected to the frame in the area of wrist joint. It is connected with the bend of phalanxes of fingers by the second end, made of low- temperature thermoplastic with the modulus of elasticity of 1400-1600 MPa and has a form in accordance with the indices of correction of the pathological state of upper extremity hand.
