METHOD FOR ELECTRO-HYDRO-PULSE DESTRUCTION OF STRONG MONOLITHIC OBJECTS UNDER WATER

The invention relates to methods for destruction of monolithic bottom soils under water with electric discharges and is intended for implementation of underwater-technical works at bottom-deepening operations. Method for electric-hydro-pulse destruction of monolithic bottom soils under water includes drilling of blast holes in bottom soils, with placement of electrodes in those and affecting bottom soils with pulse electric discharges. To increase effectiveness of destruction of monolithic bottom soils before in experimental way one determines energy of electric discharges in one pulse needed for destruction of bottom soils, with calculation of maximal radius of zone of destruction of bottom soils according to the relation: , where - radius of zone of destruction, m; - power of electric discharges in one pulse, kJ; - strength for compression of rock of bottom soil, mPa; - depth of blast hole, m, and blast holes are drilled at distance one from another not larger than two radii of destruction zone 2R.
