Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the production of castings of unkilled and semikilled steel. A process for making of castings includes filling with metal of device for casting and additional heat removal from the main part of the casting toward the heat removal element, the melting point of which is lower than the melting point of steel. Said element is placed inside the walls of device for casting in its upper part. Technical result: improvement of purity of steel as for nonmetallic inclusions and increase of metal yield.
