Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compact-material composition for the ladle cast-iron treatment. The compact-material contains powdery stuff-core from the slagmetal components, which contain magnesium, carbonaceous material and burned dolomite, which is enclosed in the steel shell in the form of wire and/or strip. Besides, the slagmetal components are additionally contain staurolite at the following ratio of components : magnesium : carbonaceous material : burned dolomite : staurolite which is equal to 1:1: (6-8):(5-7). The invention provides increasing the effectivenes of the ladle treatment withmaterial according to the invention, depreciation of the new material at 30-40% relatively to the serial, formation of the necessary coating slag in the cast-iron ladle.
