Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy. A method for steel smelting in the converter involves charge loading into the converter, smelting bath lancing with the oxygen through the top lance, superposition of electric potential difference between the lance and the melt at the level of 20-60 V, at that the electroconductive additives are additionally introduced into the converter. The invention allows to decrease the specific consumption of the cast-iron and to improve the process of the scorification during steel production.
