METHOD FOR DEFINIFION OF CONTENTS OF BLACK AND HEAVY METALS IN POWDER PROSPECTS

The invention relates to mining and processing industries. A method for definition of the contents of black and heavy metals in powder prospects includes loading material of test in a drain ditch, condensation of a material of test in a drain ditch pressure upon its surface, installation of drain ditches with test material in the zone of irradiation on the set distances to a source of radiation and the detector, an irradiation of a material under test by gamma-ray emission of a source, registration by the detector of intensity absent-minded a material of test of radiation and, in accordance to its size, definition of the contents of metal under test. According to the invention, before loading a material under test in a drain ditch is rated on weight, and condensation is carried out up to achievement of the given force of pressure, and distances from drain ditches up to the source of radiation and the detector set from conditions to provide carrying out of measurements for inversion density of the material under test of the zone. The invention provides a constancy of density of material according to drain ditch volumes, decrease of an error of definition of the contents to +- 0.5 % abs., decrease of volume of the material under test to 25-35 cm3.
